The Parrish family has deep roots in the Atascadero and Paso Robles area. The Parrish Family began producing their boutique wine in 2004. The Filippini family history in the Paso Robles area began in the early 1960’s when winery owner Sylvia Filippini’s family purchased the property where the winery now stands. The first grapevines (Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay) were planted in 1982, as the current Paso Robles appellation was evolving into the wine region that it is today. They expanded the winery's varieties to include Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, and small blocks of Grenache, Petite Sirah, Malbec and Tannat.

Located less than a mile and a half from Allegretto Vineyard Resort, the Paso Robles Event Center is an entertainment complex that was first opened in 1946. It’s famous for conventions, fairs, and concerts and has hosted a variety of musical talent throughout its years. If you visit towards the end of July, the event center is home to the California Mid State Fair.
